Mike Yastrzemski delivers again, this time with a homer

Mike Yastrzemski hit his second homer in as many days and matched a career high with four RBIs to lead the San Francisco Giants to a 6-4 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday.

Yastrzemski’s third-inning homer off Spenser Watkins (0-1) gave the Giants a 2-0 lead.

His two-run single in the sixth off Tanner Scott put the Giants up 5-3.

Giants rebound after tough Saturday

The Giants (3-2) rebounded from a tough 9-6 loss to the Orioles on Saturday night in which they gave up a pair of three-run homers in the ninth inning,

San Francisco has won two of three games against the Orioles in the four-game series at Baltimore.

Watkins allowed two runs on three hits in 2 1/3 innings in his first start of the season.

Scott gave up three runs on three hits in two innings.

Giants starter Alex Cobb allowed three runs on five hits and two walks in 4 2/3 innings.

Camilo Doval got the final three outs for his third save in as many chances.

Ramon Urias hit a two-run homer for the Orioles (1-4), who have lost four straight.

The Orioles loaded the bases with two outs in the ninth, but Doval got Ryan McKenna to ground out to end the game.

The Giants and Orioles will play the final game of the series on Monday afternoon.

Logan Webb (1-1, 6.00 ERA) will start for the Giants against Dean Kremer (0-1, 7.71 ERA) for the Orioles.
